As a child, Yolanda Williams had an imagination and wrote them as plays and poems. Writing was never a passion until later on as an adult, while walking around the house when a story came to her. She sat down and began writing. Bounded by Love was created, and the rest is history. Her passion to bring a story to life has turned into her purpose, creating stories about the everyday woman's struggle, stronghold, and strength to overcome the one thing we all want, and that is love.
Yolanda was born June 25, 1978, in Columbus, MS. She is the third of four siblings, aunt to 9 nieces and nephews, and 4 great-nephews. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1996 and then went into the Army. She served 3 years, 5 months, and 21 days as an 88M (truck driver) before she was medically discharged. While serving her country she obtained an Army Commendation Medal.
She graduated from Georgia State Perimeter College with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration.
She dipped her hands into entrepreneurship by starting her business, Diva Yolan, LLC, originally meant to be a custom t-shirt boutique but has eventually turned into her own publishing company where she self-publishes her books.
Yolanda currently lives in the Atlanta, GA Metropolitan area where she continues her civil service as a supervisory contact representative for a government agency.
